The second of two lectures celebrating the 2007 reopening of the Museum's galleries for Oceanic Art, this talk highlights the processes of gallery design and object conservation. It touches on the storage of the objects, wing de-installation, demolition, construction, casework, and installation that took place throughout the course of the three-year renovation project.
